Andrew is enjoying his third season as Assistant Principal Cello in the Alabama Symphony, learning lots of fabulous new repertoire. As of the summer of 2010, Andrew is the Principal Cellist of the Des Moines Metro Opera. In August 2011, he joins the cello section in the Britt Festival Orchestra in Jacksonville, Oregon.
After receiving his Masters at Rice, studying with Lynn Harrell, Andrew played one season with the Louisiana Philharmonic. Since November 1, 2008, he has been performing and teaching cello in the Mountain Brook and Cahaba Heights area. A cello teacher for all levels, Andrew is welcoming new students.
Andrew has small ensembles available to perform wedding music, and perform for many venues and events. A wide variety of repertoire is available: Classical and more. Please contact for more information and dates.
